COMPACT write up in Jane's Police Review

Our Missing Persons' system COMPACT was the focus of an article within Jane's Police Review recently along with analysis of the system by our user group.

COMPACT is having a marked effect on the accurate portrayal of missing persons' statistics on a national level

The ability of COMPACT to easily collate the numbers of missing people has proved a useful tool for forces trying to convince local authorities about the scale of the problem

The system is able to shine a light on those individuals who are reported missing, if only for a period of a few hours. In the long term this information is able to assist forces should the same people be subsequently reported missing.

Our work within this area is on-going and we welcome the feedback of our user group in tackling this important societal issue.
