WPC set to launch new Web-based document managment system

Building on the success of Ferret and the knowledge gained by supplying a document management system to over 25 police customers, WPC has extended its document management capabilities by developing Core-DMS.
Core-DMS is an entirely Web-based document management system, built using the latest Microsoft .Net technology, providing an exciting range of enhanced features and benefits. Being completely browser -based, Core-DMS allows documents to be scanned, viewed or edited from any workstation on the force network.
New features within Core-DMS include the ability to store any document type such as Microsoft Word documents, PDFs and scanned images. Other benefits that can be gained from the new system include full-text search capabilities, the ability to save documents as users' favourites, the option to 'check out' a document to work on it and many, many more.
