SUCCESSFUL LAUCH OF CORE-VET, THE NEW VETTING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
06/2008
Gloucestershire Constabulary is the first force to take on WPC's new vetting management system, Core-Vet. The new system is proving popular with a number of forces, including Sussex and Grampian who are currently having the system implemented.
Core-Vet is a vetting management system designed to provide a fully auditable and secure method of managing the entire vetting process.
The web-based application exploits the latest technologies and is designed to be used by a force vetting team. Core-Vet can help police forces administer applications for all police staff and officers, as well as non-police personnel such as contractors.
To aid the management of the vetting process, Core-Vet can interface to a number of related applications, such as address gazetteers or Core-DMS, WPC's document management system.
Core-Vet enables forces to adopt a consistent approach, in line with ACPO vetting policy for police communities. By using a sophisticated management tool for the vetting process, forces can provide a safe working environment for its staff, and help to ensure the safety of the public they serve.
If you would like to see Core-Vet in action, we can now provide an on-line demonstration. If this appeals to you or if you would just like further information, please contact WPC Software on 0117 908 1484 or via this form.
