THE RELAUNCH OF LYNX-FIRE

WPC has relaunched Lynx-Fire. There have been a number of developments and enhancements to the system to make it a more effective tool for fire investigators.
Lynx Fire has been designed to allow fire investigators to manage incidents, nominals, and all other records related to a fire investigation. Links between records can be represented graphically and associations revealed to give greater insight to the fire investigator.
The latest development to Lynx Fire is an interface to the IRS, which will minimise the amount of data entry required. WPC has partnered with Wavetech Consultancy to work on this interface. Wavetech Consultancy has a vast amount of experience in providing services for fire and rescue services, including local IRS solutions.
Additional features to the system include document management, records of the latest incidents and the ability to monitor and manage officers time.
The system has been helping services effectively manage and interrogate all of the information related to a fire investigation. Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service is utilising Lynx-Fire and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is in the process of rolling out the system.
