WPC Software is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of the products and assets of Nottinghamshire based software company Merlins Web. Merlins Web specialise in investigation management and other web-based solutions for police and other organisations.

Alan Walker, Managing Director of WPC, said "This is a really exciting opportunity for WPC to venture into a new area of policing and to explore other prospects outside of the police market. Merlins Web have impressive products which will fit well with WPC's existing knowledge and product sets".

Merlins Web's product portfolio consists of Crime Manager (an investigation/operation management tool), Asset Register (to manage a range of surveillance and other police assets), SpecIntell (Football Ground Safety Management software), Taxi Driver Data, Taxi Driver Test and Pub Watch Scheme databases.

WPC would also like to welcome Shaun Hobbs and Steve Medcalf who will be joining WPC on a consultancy basis bringing with them all the knowledge they have built up over 50 plus years of police experience and over the last few years in the development of the Merlins Web brand.
