WPC Software is delighted to be sponsoring the first joint national conference on Missing Persons organised by the charity Missing People and the NPIA Missing Persons Bureau.

This year's event is titled Transforming the Missing Landscape and takes place on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th April at Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry. The event gives professionals from across the 'missing' spectrum the chance to share knowledge and experience, and will also provide an ideal opportunity to look at the latest developments on COMPACT, WPC's missing person case management system.

COMPACT Misper has been helping forces across England & Wales manage missing persons cases for many years. Currently, 21 forces use the software to track and manage enquiries, with Sussex Police the latest force to take the system.

The event also coincides with the release of COMPACT version 4.1 which provides a number of enhancements that have been suggested through the national user group. Perhaps the most significant impact that v4.1 will bring is the automatic email interface that will transfer missing persons data from all the COMPACT forces directly to the NPIA Missing Persons Bureau.
