WPC Software Ltd has officially been recognised as meeting the latest (2004) Investors in People standard.

Investors in People is a proven framework for delivering business improvement through an organisation’s people. It sets a standard for good practice in matching what people can do, and are motivated to do, with what the organisation needs them to do to meet business and customer needs.

The assessment for the Investors in People programme checks, for example, that recruitment and employee development are clearly linked to business needs, and that employee skills and development are maximised. It checks that our business plan gives sufficient emphasis to the company’s health and future, but also that it provides well for our people, our products and our customers.

Investors in People is not a one-off exercise, but is a continual programme of company development. We are very pleased to have achieved this recognition as quickly as we have done. Our investment in our people will help ensure that we continue to bring our customers ‘best-value’ solutions to increasingly complex and urgent problems.
