WPC Software is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a contract for the support and maintenance of the Case Administration and Tracking System (CATS) for the next three years. WPC began supporting CATS in April 2007, and has been selected to continue the support until 2011.

CATS has been helping Child Protection and Domestic Abuse units manage cases for a number of years, providing an easy-to-use case management and administration system. There are currently 14 forces using CATS, all of whom use the Child Protection module, and six the Domestic Abuse module. The latest forces to join the CATS user group are Lincolnshire and Humberside.

WPC is looking forward to continuing its work with the strategy group to help all forces manage this key area of policing. With the guidance of the user group WPC hopes to further enhance the efficiency and functionality of the CATS application and support the needs of public protection units all over the country.
