06/07/2005 LYNX HELPS FORCE INVESTIGATION TEAMS

WPC Software is launching its latest software application to help UK police forces work towards effective policing. LYNX is an intelligence tool designed to help investigating teams manage small to medium sized operations. During its development we have been working very closely with a UK police force to ensure LYNX fulfils the needs of a number of departments.

The program is aimed at targeted operations and allows telephone transactions (from the many communication service providers) to be imported and analysed. The import utility enables filtering of specific calling or called numbers, talk and SMS. Telephone records can be created automatically during the import procedure and as soon as all communications have been processed a graphical representation of them is available.

01/06/2005 WILTSHIRE PILOTS RTC SYSTEM

WPC Software is helping Wiltshire Constabulary speed up the process of dealing with road traffic collisions (RTCs). The force urgently needed to replace the system used to record and store details of RTCs and turned to WPC for help. The previous, stand alone system had become outdated and a more user friendly, efficient and networked solution was required.

The new RTC Indexing system provides a direct link to WPC's Ferret document management software, enabling documents relating to incidents to be stored together with details about the individuals involved.
