06/11/2008 WPC HAVE HAD THEIR INVESTORS IN PEOPLE STATUS RENEWED

WPC Software Ltd has officially been re-awarded Investors in People status. In order to retain recognition as an Investor in People, a review must be conducted within a maximum of three years of the last assessment. The review process is very similar to the original assesment and we are pleased to confirm WPC adhered to all standards in the framework.

Gloucestershire Constabulary is using sophisticated new vetting management software to ensure a safe environment for its staff and members of the public.

Gloucestershire is using the web-based Core-Vet system to centralise its entire vetting process and speed up the retrieval of information regarding job applicants and visitors to its premises.

30/06/2008 WPCs SUCCESS AT ACPO 2008 EXHIBITION

WPC Software is pleased to report on their successful exhibition at ACPO 2008.

Many products were demonstrated including the new vetting management system, Core-Vet.

Particular interest was evident in the new document management system Core-DMS which is available as an upgrade to existing Ferret customers as well as new users.

25/04/2008 WPC SOFTWARE AWARDED CATS SUPPORT UNTIL 2011

WPC Software is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a contract for the support and maintenance of the Case Administration and Tracking System (CATS) for the next three years. WPC began supporting CATS in April 2007, and has been selected to continue the support until 2011.

WPC is looking forward to continuing its work with the strategy group to help all forces manage this key area of policing.

21/04/2008 WPC ATTENDING IAATI 2008 VEHICLE CRIME CONFERENCE

WPC Software is continuing its association with the UK branch of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI) by exhibiting at the upcoming conference at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warwickshire.

In the exhibition area, there will be the opportunity to see WPC Software's established suite of ELVIS systems, developed to record and manage a range of vehicle-related information.

03/03/2008 WPC SUPPORTS HOSDB EQUIPMENT EXHIBITION

WPC Software is pleased to announce its attendance at the Home Office Scientific Development Branch Equipment Exhibition 2008, which is being held at RAF Halton, near Aylesbury.

The two-day exhibition, on the 12th- 13th March, is organised by the HOSDB in partnership with the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS). WPC will be using the exhibition to showcase all of its latest software developments including SMART, the search management system.
