WPC has expanded its mobile data capabilities, with mobileInnKeeper now available for use on a Blackberry device.

Our secure system gives officers using hand-held devices access to up-to-date intelligence data about licensed premises and incidents of alcohol-fuelled disorder.

MobileInnKeeper has been available on Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) for some time, but now the same functionality is available on a Blackberry. Many forces are choosing Blackberries as a key component of their mobile data projects, and mobileInnKeeper has successfully been rolled out in Nottinghamshire Police, and will soon be followed by Derbyshire.

Officers have instant access to a range of information which now includes the ability to view a copy of the scanned licence details on their mobile device.

WPC will also be mobilising other key systems including mobileCOMPACT, which will give officers instant access to missing persons data and allow associated tasks, such as address checks, to be completed as they are carried out.
