The expansion of Keynsham-based WPC Software continues apace with the appointment of two new staff.
Dan Sims and Khalil Yousaf join the company at a time of growing demand for its innovative software products which are now used by two thirds of the UK 's police forces.
Dan graduated from the University of Exeter last year with a degree in French and IT and spent a year travelling abroad before taking up his new post as a software trainer. The 24-year-old football fanatic, who plays for a team in Bristol 's Downs League, will be responsible for providing training and support to clients using WPC Software's state-of-the-art computer systems.
Khalil joins the company as a trainee software developer after graduating from the University of Bath with a degree in electrical engineering. The 23-year-old is a music DJ in his spare time and a familiar face among Bath 's night clubbers.
Alan Walker, managing director of WPC Software, said: "We are delighted to welcome Dan and Khalil to our fast-growing team. They join WPC Software at an exciting time for the business and we wish them every success in their new careers."
