WPC SOFTWARE RECRUITS MORE STAFF   3rd December 2004

Keynsham-based WPC Software, a leading supplier of computer software to the emergency services, has appointed four more software developers.

James Harris, Steven McManus, Heike Cappel and Eoin O'Keeffe take up their new posts at a time of growing demand for the company's innovative software products which are now used by two thirds of the UK 's police forces.

Bristol-born James, 24, graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in computer science and worked for fleet car finance firm ALD Automotive before joining WPC Software. Steven, 22, is a computer science graduate of the University of Bristol and a keen snooker player, having played for a division one team in his local league.

Heike, 23, who comes from Düsseldorf , Germany has a masters degree in mathematics with linguistics from the University of York , and is a qualified trampoline coach. Eoin, 25, from County Tipperary , Ireland , graduated from University College Cork with a civil engineering degree and previously worked for building services company Howse Cole Dyer in Cardiff .
