WPC attended Metal Theft Conference

WPC attended the ACPO Metal Theft conference in Feburary 2012.

Businesses and charitable organisations have become the target of ever increasing attacks from organised criminal gangs. These items can be taken and resold as scrap metal.

Crimson WPC's investigation management solution can assist investigations into metal theft and help prosecute those involved. The use of the system will enable users to log all offences and build an accurate picture of criminality within this area.

We also took this opportunity to showcase MetalManager built on the principles of InnKeeper WPC's liquor licensing software solution. It is hoped that MetalManager may provide organisations with a tool from which details of thefts and incidents can be recorded and a picture of the criminality surrounding Metal Theft generated.
