ELVIS-VR use within FMG Support
September 1, 2011
FMG Support, a vehicle management company dealing with over
250,000 incidents a year, has signed up to use WPC product
ELVIS-VR.
The ELVIS-VR system works together with FMG Support's
Ingenium-i system, to streamline the storage and disposal process
for vehicles left at the roadside. The software is helping FMG
Support halve the number of vehicles held in longterm
storage.
ELVIS-VR speeds up the time it takes to recover a vehicle
from the roadside and impoves communications between traffic
enforcement agencies and recovery teams. It is already having a
dramatic effect within Lancashire Constabulary.
Glenn Bewes, Managing Director of WPC Software,
said:
"We are delighted that our
market-leading ELVIS-VR system, which is currently used by 15 UK
police forces, is now helping FMG Support to manage the vehicle
recovery process more efficiently, saving both manpower and
resources.
"This marks
an exciting new development for WPC Software as we branch out into
other vehicle recovery markets."
John Catling, Chief Operating Officer, FMG Support
said:
"We are delighted to be working in partnership
with WPC Software. The seamless integration of the ELVIS-VR system
with FMG Support's bespoke, Ingenium-i technology, and our ability
to respond to complex challenges by providing creative and
intelligent solutions, has resulted in a much refined and improved
service for the Highways Agency, and we look forward to continuing
to deliver significantly improved results."
