Core-Vet
Overview
Core-Vet is an application designed to manage the entire vetting
process, from receipt of an application through to aftercare
requirements. The system helps ensure that procedures are
carried out consistently and in line with the ACPO National Policy
for Vetting in the Police Community.
The applicant's record with its summary section allows you
to identify a vetting status at a glance. From here you can drill
down further and look more closely at their application, clearance
level, check and address records. You can also store their
photograph, manage the vetting of their associates and mail-merge
their details to various templates.
Core-Vet E-Forms
Through the use of Core-Vet E-Forms users of the system can
benefit from cost and time savings within their vetting departments
or organisations.
An applicant can now enter the relevant information directly
into the form which is automatically validated. This ensures that
the vetting unit only receives accurate information.
This has a vast time saving as vetting staff do not need to
physically examine the forms to ensure all information has been
input.
System Benefits
- The system enables vetting departments to manage every
aspect of an application, for either national or local purposes,
beginning with the initial request and extending through to
aftercare.
- Users are able to build up a complete history of an applicant,
which could encompass: previous applications, previous
addresses, previous checks/clearance levels and details concerning
their relations.
- Vetting operators can be reminded of checks/clearance
levels that are due for renewal or review.
- The facility for storing photographs can assist in the
prevention of fraudulent applications.
- Accurate audit trails and better case progression,
removing duplication of process, delays and
inefficiencies.
