ELVIS - Police Forms

West Mids Case Study
Overview

ELVIS-VR is WPC's market leading vehicle recovery system, which is helping a number of police forces and local councils effectively manage the vehicle recovery process.

ELVIS-VR allows police forces to manage their vehicle recovery in-house. The advantage of this can be seen both economically and operationally. Eradicating expenditure on managed services and bringing control back to the force, along with valuable vehicle intelligence.

The highly configurable system is designed to track vehicles through all stages of their life-cycle whilst they are being dealt with.

System Benefits

Automate tasks and workflow to inform removal contractors and other users of the next action in the recovery process. This helps to provide instant data sharing between all organisations.

A comprehensive finance section enables ELVIS-VR to deal effectively with payment of statutory fees and invoices, to include calculating correct payments dependent on the type of recovery/seizure and include correct allocation of VAT.

An interface to Command and Control systems allows the control room staff to populate ELVIS-VR as and when a call comes in. An interface to HPI and PNC allows checks to be completed seamlessly from a vehicle record. An optional document management module allows all related documents to be stored against an enquiry/vehicle.
