Mark Czechowski, Licensing Sgt for Trent Valley Division said:
'We're pleased with the efficiencies made by Inn Keeper. It means that, so far, 6 police officers have been released to police the streets, from this division alone, instead of being tied up with licensing administrative duties.'
Inspector David Knopp from Staffordshire Police said
'The system has reduced the bureaucracy on Police Officers who issue and monitor CS Spray. It has also improved the integrity of the audit, accountability and administration of CS. Additionally I have found it to be a user-friendly system, that is easy to train officers. You don't need to have a huge knowledge of using computers to be able to use the system.'
Chief Inspector Adrian Bloor of Staffordshire Police said:
'Having instant access to historical information can prove crucial when investigating missing persons cases - this is exactly what COMPACT provides us with.
It ensures that such information is available to officers across the force at the touch of a button.'
