The public sector uses a vast array of software and interfacing is part and parcel of most new implementations. WPC has a standard framework for interfacing which has brought our software into close alignment with other core systems such as command and control, PNC, gazetteers and mapping. WPC Software is committed to aligning all of its police product portfolio and future developments with the latest guidelines and standards. Over the years, we have invested time in understanding the guidelines and principles for national IT strategies, and the guidance on different business areas by the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC). We liaise closely with our user groups on these issues and ensure that we do all we can to enable forces to manage data in accordance with MoPI (Management of Police Information).
