COMPACT Conference at Westminster
Following the success of previous COMPACT conferences, WPC is looking forward to hosting a missing persons conference on the 11th of January, at the Palace of Westminster, London.
This year’s conference will have the theme of ‘Improving the response to Missing Persons’. Speakers will be looking to share and discuss good practice and new developments with everyone working within this vital business area.
COMPACT, WPC’s missing persons case management system, has continued to support UK police forces in managing missing persons investigations and protecting vulnerable persons. COMPACT has enabled forces to not only manage the investigation process, but also proactively tackle the issue of repeat runaways and missing children.
WPC is looking forward to hearing input from:
- Ann Coffey, MP
- Chief Constable Mike Veale, National Police Lead on Missing
- Joe Apps, Head of the UK Missing Persons Bureau, NCA
- Missing People (Charity)
- And others
WPC Business Manager, Oliver Clare, will also be discussing the new developments of COMPACT that are due to be released in April 2017.
