Missing Persons Case Management
COMPACT - Misper is a missing persons case management system that has been developed in collaboration with UK Police Forces. It supports and efficiently manages the many processes associated with missing people. Since its initial development as an investigations tool it has become highly regarded and has even been mentioned within parliamentary debate.
The system has been developed over the years and the active user group provides feedback and pushes forward changes, meaning the system is constantly being improved and kept up-to-date with the latest guidance and legislation around missing children and adults.
System Benefits
A Complete Picture
Reducing Bureaucracy
Active User Group
The system has seen more than eighteen years of development and has evolved to keep up with the latest challenges facing Misper investigations. The active user group provides feedback and pushes forward changes, meaning the system is constantly being improved and kept up-to-date with the latest guidance and legislation around missing children and adults.
COMPACT is designed to help manage the process involved in a missing person investigation, build a complete picture of each missing person and lower the risk involved in missing incidents. This is especially important for people who go missing frequently; a full report history for an individual is available at the click of a button.
The design of COMPACT is heavily influenced by a drive to reduce bureaucracy. Features such as the command and control interface significantly reduce not only time double-keying information, but also the operational risk introduced by that time delay. A number of statistical reports can be generated in seconds, when it may take hours to compile them manually.
